SHINGEKI NO AWAKE

Shingeki no Awake is a professional music band based in Japan, rooted in contemporary Japanese pop culture and inspired by Harajuku kawaii culture.
Through music and live performance, the band shares a uniquely Japanese cultural expression with international audiences.

The band creates original music, recordings, live performances, music videos, and original merchandise.

Live performance is the core of their expression.
Their shows combine music, visual production, and shared choreography to create a participatory experience that transcends language and borders.

Formed in 2011 under the name Awake, the band has built a long standing career in Japan through consistent creative output and live activity.

Ranking No. 11 on the Oricon Indies Chart
Multiple sold out one man shows at major venues including TSUTAYA O WEST and Shibuya WWW
Television and radio ending themes for national programs
Large scale performances reaching audiences of approximately 3,000 people

In 2023, vocalist Erunyan was featured by TokyoFashion following the release of Zetsubou Paradox, a project that gained international attention for its bold Harajuku inspired visual expression.

Shingeki no Awake aims to expand their activities in the United States through live performances and participation in music related events.

Through these efforts, the band seeks to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and the United States through contemporary Japanese music and performance.
